All Members are invited to watch the Turkey Sculls on Saturday 21 December!

Training at Leander traditionally finishes with this morning of fun Christmas racing where all the squads come together and row in quad sculls in mixed crews of men, women, seniors and juniors over a short 200-metre course.

This fast and furious scratch race starts at the HRR finish line and ends at the Clubhouse. It’s 200 metres of raw power!

Winners receive a turkey for Christmas; spectators gets mulled wine and mince pies – what’s not to love?

Athletes will be raising money for Children in Need with a cake sale!

Races start at 11am, with the draw and bacon rolls served from 10am.
