The event is a parade of beautifully lit and themed craft – powered or unpowered (no paddle boards) which sail from Fawley Meadows up to Henley Bridge. The craft are all imaginatively and wonderfully decorated. There have been many themes over the last few years – James Bond, Mamma Mia, Only Fools and Boats, Unicorns, Popeye, Under the Sea, Pirates – even a 7’ penguin!

The building and houses from the Bridge to Fawley Court are also brilliantly and colourfully lit, and approximately 3000 spectators watch the parade from both sides of the river. It is a marvellous spectacle!

Leander Club throws open its doors to the public for this one night of the year, so everyone can come in and see the prize-giving. There are bars and food trucks available for refreshments, so it truly is a full evening of entertainment for the whole family.
