Congratulations to our Women’s squad on winning the Women’s Eights Head Of The River Race on Saturday.
The winning crew of Abbie Topp, Amelia Standing, Charlotte Fennell, Phoebe Snowden, Juliette Perry, Philippa Emery, Daisy Bellamy, Issy Powell, and cox Henry Fieldman took the win by 3.8 seconds in difficult weather conditions over Oxford Brookes in 2nd place.
The B boat of Helen Kirkpatrick, Abbie Bird, Franny Hunt-Davis, Isy Hawes, Alice Ives, Muryn Green, Grace Denning Smitherman, Lucy Stratton, and cox Jiyaraj Saggu finished in 9th position.
We would like to thank the organisers of WEHORR for running a great race, and many volunteers for giving up their time to make this event happen.
And finally, Fulham Reach BC for hosting our Leander Crews and as always being so accommodating.
