We’re looking forward to the return of GLOW winter music festival, taking place in our heated stretch tent on the Leander Club lawn.
It all kicks off with a Bavarian Beer Party on Saturday 26th November from 2pm-6pm. Enjoy drinking Weissbeer from classic steins and filling up on bratwurst and chips, accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the Bettesteiner Footstompers Oompah Band from 3pm. GLOW starts in earnest on Thursday 1st December with ‘raw delicious mouth wizardry’ from beatboxers, DUKE. (They said it, not us!) DUKE are no strangers to the big stage, having played at some of music’s top events such as Parklife and Leeds Festival – they’ve also performed with Prince and Amy Winehouse.
On Friday 2nd December, Brother Strut will be bringing authentic funk, irresistible grooves and infectious charisma to Leander. Composed of some of the finest and funkiest musicians around, Brother Strut has honed their talents on some of the world’s most prestigious stages alongside an array of cherished icons like Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Madonna.
On Saturday 3rd December, JG Collective are ready to ‘spruce things up’ with their high-octane party setlist, transporting the magic of après to Henley’s riverside. Led by JJ, Founder of Eight Ray Music and top London musicians, they’re snow joke!! These guys are your home-grown festive fire-crackers, ready to jingle you into the holiday mood.
